Describe your company and organization and target audience

Sibbil is a news and events forecasting game. Sibbil aims to change the way we follow and engage with the news by making a game of it and creating a community where users can predict outcomes of global news events while competing against their peers for prizes. We provide the content, the game and the social platform for our users. Our game covers four main areas: Business, Entertainment, Society and Sports. In essence, we are the intersection between fantasy sports and news following.

The name Sibbil was chosen as a variation of Sibyl, which are women that ancient Greeks believed were oracles. While a sibyl is a classical female character a majority of our users will be male, and we are a forward thinking modern tech start-up.

Our target audience is Millennials and young professionals/college graduates. People who are civic minded, but also have a competitive streak in them. People who debate and talk about worldwide events with friends and colleagues. This is an app so its for smartphone users as well.

The design should have the following

Please be creative but the design should be simple and clean. Not too busy and something that is sharp and can pop off of a smartphone screen, as this is an app and needs to lend itself to that kind of size and format.

This logo will be used for

  • Online (Website, facebook etc.)
  • Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
  • Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)
  • Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)

This design should not have this in the entries

Too many colors or too much visual complexity.

What style of logo would you like?

Colors to use in the design

We are open to colors, but please refer to the attached screenshots of our app. We are not looking to change the overall color scheme, so the logo should be easy to integrate.
