I only made the background that way to convey the fact that it would be transparent and could work on any background (except red, black, and blue for obvious reasons) as well as to show off the detail of the star without overwhelming the whole graphic. The finalized file would simply be the words, line above, and line below in color with a white or black version being optional with any and all versions being completely transparent. The background star can also be sent as a separate file for background or layering purposes if desired as well.

The logo will need to overlay other content, whether on a website or on letterhead. Please keep the background neutral/white as that part will likely be transparent. I like the star in the background, as long as it's faded/transparent (25% or so). I would like to see some variations of the font and how the words are arranged. Also, like the star between the two words, that looks good.
