Political race for Maricopa Community College District Governing Board-At Large Seat. Maricopa County Community College District includes 10 schools and is one of the largest CC districts in the country. This year's Governing Board race includes 1 Maricopa County-wide elected office, where residents of the entire county can vote. Over 1 million people will vote for this particular election and close to 5 million people live in the county. This is a big race! Our organization believes in public education and our candidate, Reid DeSpiegelaere has experience as a local school teacher, community organizer, and now works on the education team at the United Way (non-profit). He believes the Community College Governing Board needs serious leadership reform and members that understand the gravity of the status quo; tuition is going up, the state cut off all funding, and the CC system is not investing in the future.

The design should have the following

My main priority is branding myself as REID, with my last name also on there, DeSpiegelaere. We also need to have "Maricopa County Community College District Governing Board" AND our website should also be included, which is ReidForMaricopa.com (not officially up yet).

I definitely want the outline of the state of Arizona and have a reference to Phoenix/Maricopa County, such as a dot or star in the location of the County. As far as color, I like purple, but am open to an array of color ideas. Nothing explicitly political or overtly conservative.

Something simple, education related, Maricopa County/Arizona related, and not cookie cutter.

This logo will be used for

Hard to read font. Too many colors. Animals. Call to action (volunteer, donate).
