Describe your company and organization and target audience

We need to develop a logo that projects a professional, corporate image for a property development business. We are a property development business in the city of Cairns, Queensland, Australia. We are a developer of commercial property (office and retail space). Our business name is "Reef Property Group" We would like a simple logo and want to give designers freedom to develop something from scratch (we do not have a preconceived idea of what it should look like). Note that while Cairns is a tourist-orientated city, the logo should not revolve around this at all.

We would like a simple logo and want to give designers freedom to develop something from scratch (we do not have a preconceived idea of what it should look like). Keep in mind we are dealing with other professionals/sophisticated businesses so it is particularly important to project a professional yet simple image.

This logo will be used for

• Online (Website, facebook etc.)
• Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
• Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)
• Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)

This design should not have this in the entries

While Cairns is a tourist destination with a focus on the Great Barrier Reef, we do not think any reference to this should appear in the logo.
