Thank you for the entries. I am typing on behalf of my boss so I am trying to convey his thoughts to you (the designers). Look for other examples of private equity firm logos. (Lundsford Capital, Blackrock, Chrysalis Ventures, etc). Wouldn't mind having a shape to go with the text but prefer something simple. Hopefully this helps some with the direction he is looking to go.
