Hi guys, I would just like to say that perhaps it would be best to keep the fonts soft and pleasant to look at. Also, earthier colors, and more simple use of graphics. I think it's best not to use too many elements in the logo. Also, perhaps it would be good to see other elements, like strings, etc. Although I said I didn't want the clefs, maybe it would be ok to experiment with most other elements. Thanks, I'm very excited to see more. This process really impresses me.

Hi! Great job guys, I'm so grateful for all your entries. Here you have some links to material that you could use IF you choose to use such elements in your design. The connection to instruments doesn't have to be too literal. I'm not necessarily looking for a whole grand piano or anything like that. If you come up with something that's inspired by any musical element that's perfectly fine too. Here you can find an amazing 360° view of a Fazioli grand piano (these cost about 150.000 dollars at least). Click on this and choose Products - 360°view. You can go all around the grand, zoom in and look at the different elements to get ideas. http://www.fazioli.com/en/

Full 88 key keyboard (if you have the keyboard, it needs to look realistic) No electric elements, just the look.: http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.keyboardmag.com/uploadedImages/keyboardmag/articles/Nord%2520Piano%2520Top.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.keyboardmag.com/article/nord-to-introduce/December-2009/105373&usg=__nssxlhlxWFwsYyVYi1aMimNHElk=&h=305&w=1024&sz=155&hl=en&start=81&sig2=nD-7hLOe15qcmkWbRjCmfg&um=1&tbnid=DIK8TJJ-eSValM:&tbnh=45&tbnw=150&prev=/images%3Fq%3D88%2Bkeys%2Bpiano%26ndsp%3D18%26hl%3Den%26client%3Dsafari%26rls%3Den-us%26sa%3DN%26start%3D72%26um%3D1&ei=pBhWS93nL5GMjAfr4YScDg

Sorry the big link up there was broken. Google image search : 88 piano keys nord You can use those images to see what a full keyboard looks like.

Just to be sure, when I say keyboard, I only mean the keys themselves. Not an electric keyboard. We're strictly acoustic.

Here's an upright piano. You can also try that. http://www.pianoshop.sg/pic/digi/0048.jpg

Hi, this is very exciting. Many great entries. Don't be shy to add a tasteful colour element to isolated parts of the design. Like, one coloured element here or there to add more pizzazz ;-) That's not necessarily appropriate with most designs, but some of them might allow for more freedom in colouring, I'd believe. Thanks! Don't be shy!

i think this is not fair... every body start cheating on each other... hope the contest holder could be considering about where the original concept came from...

Hi! Yes, don't worry, I will take into account which designs first appeared. Of course the design elements are a little limited and some things tend to be very similar. That may in part be due to the rather narrow focus I have had :-) I really like many of your ideas.

Dear contestants, thank you very much for participating. I have chosen the logo design I'm going with, although I haven't pressed the button itself yet :-). I really appreciate your great attempts and I've tried to answer all of you personally to give you insights. Almost 300 different entries and I believe I've managed to grade all of them and comment on most of them too. I have already contacted the winner. I chose a logo that was a little conservative but very crisp. Many of your entries were absolutely great. Thank you again and good luck in the future!
