TIPS TO WIN THIS CONTEST!! 1. Read the contest description. 2. Ask questions! .... using elogocontest ONLY. If you contact us otherwise, you'll be disqualified. 3. Avoid lighting effects and shading. If you are going to use lighting effects, don't use more than the UPS logo. 4. KEEP IT SIMPLE and modern. Examples of logos I like are Target, Delta, Disney. 5. Integrate the icon and the text into one design, you can even make the icon part of the text. 6. Represent the message, when you see the logo, this should come to your mind: Doors, Security, "Designer", High-end.

Thank you all for your efforts but PLEASE concentrate on what's important. This is a doors company ... so what do you think should be part of the logo? YES, A DOOR! ... not a shield, not a lock, not a keypad. Second, I have given my opinion about AVOIDING lighting effects and shading several times but I am not being heard. :( 3D objects and shinny are fine and they CAN be represented with FLAT colors ... like the elogocontest logo, for instance. THIRD, keep it simple, clean, modern. If you can take something OUT of your design, do it. Thank you all!

WHO'S COPYING WHO? The first person to come up with the idea of a shield was trustxme, that idea was dropped but others continue to copy it. The first person to come up with the idea of an M with a handle was sau1ius - I think I should consider similar entries submitted by sau1uis only.

This was not an easy decision AT ALL. I felt I was unfair to many of you but there could only be one winner. THANK YOU for your efforts. Many of you are really talented.
