Describe your company and organization and target audience

I had this restaurant and am looking to reopen it with new branding. I like the logo but its a little to cartoon & kiddie. I am looking for a logo that will still pop out but be a little more grown up.

The design should have the following

Thinking if someway barn (shack) wood can be used. I would like to incorporate Pasta, Salads and Grill Cheeses. Maybe where the old logo says Pasta, ingredients, and sauces. The yes chef can totally go away. I will also be looking to rebrand.

This logo will be used for

Online (Website, facebook etc.)
Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)

This design should not have this in the entries

I am open but don't want something dark.
