exotic or funky fonts or colors probably aren't a fit for us. it's needs to be professional. a retro look also isn't a fit.

most of the submissions thus far are pretty streamlined. we certainly aren't opposed to an included icon or graphical symbol that would help enhance the aesthetic appeal help convey or streghthen our message.

i wanted to reiterate things people should think of when they see the logo. by no means should does it have to simple and bland, but it should still imply these attributes: Professional, high-end, elite, successful, a reliable & trustworthy resource, irreplaceable, unmatchable, experienced, high quality work, not a "boiler room" type organization, specialzied, media focused, different.
