We have a giant machine (autoscale.com) that cuts large shapes out of foam. These foam shapes are used to create molds and proof-of-concept for product designers in many industries: automotive, marine, aerospace, drone, self-driving vehicles, and other industries. Our machine is special due to large size, fast speed and complex programming capabilities. The main use for our services is to provide product manufacturers with foam shapes that would normally be hand-crafted by designers. Our service allows for a CAD digital file to give instructions for our CNC (a robot) to cut the large foam into any shape. Examples of products made with this machine are boat hulls, car bodies, wind turbines. Foam can be made in any density up to the equivalent strength and weight of steel. The target audience is engineers, corporate managers, composite professionals, boat builders
