LOS ALAMITOS WATER POLO

anyone have some other unique ideas ? how about maybe 1) a old school international style/european looking ( possibly sports like soccer or rugby or aquatics ) logo with a traditional feel to it, like the club team has been around for hundreds of years, maybe a shield, or cote of arms, or emblem, or like a flag, or crest, with fancy things around it, with some latin words/pjrases, wrapping banner, words like Los Alamitos, or Club Team of, of Water Polo Club of Los Alamitos, or the Official Club of Los Alamitos, or , whatever looks and sounds historic, sporty. Something that also shows that we are the best, premier, elite, the king of the sport, the best of the best 2) another idea would be a more modern/hip/trendy logo that is more like 2010 and will last for the next 5 years with the latest trends, something big bold and loud enough to see from a far distance, something with originality that han't been used elsewhere, with an original font that isn't used anywhere else and our club team can brand it and be recognized for it 3) adding additional tag lines, or catch phrases that describes who we are, what we are, why, and philsophy and style

I dont know why but my logo looks distorted in the preview. It looks way more proportionate when you click it.

Make the shield?? Huh....

Lots of great designs and ideas, we are maybe a few days or so away from ending the contest can anyone try this 1) a simple logo, with big text on top "LOS AL" and a smaller text right under it "WATER POLO", in a simple to read, but new unique modern hip font that could be original and not really coppied anywhere else. Colors, outlining, shining, makes it very bold, aggressive and dominant. Could there be any additional graphic pics ? yes, maybe a ball encorporated somewhere, maybe a real or mythical seal creature wrapped around, slightly hidden ( ex: sea serpent), maybe not 2) a very detailed and complex logo. Look under some Heraldry websites for ideas and examples. inside of a shield,somehow the words on top "LOS AL" and then atthe bottom of the shield of right under "LOS AL" we have "WPC", maybe with the W and C a bit smaller and the "P" bigger than the other 2, center at the bottom point of the shield, who knows. Circled around a wreath or patch of some sort, with the wrap around word on the left side "THE OFFICIAL" and then on top "WATER POLO" then on the left side "CLUB OF" then at the bottom of the circle or wreath, "LOS ALAMITOS", this could also be in a banner, traditional type scroll I want a latin phrase translated to "Loyalty Leads To Victory", I think it is "Fidelitas Plumbum Ut Victoria", maybe I am wrong. I want this patch type logo, with a crown somewhere, with maybe 7 meaningful points to the toop, sympolizing 7 players in the field of water polo representing the team at one time of the game before substitutions. Symbolds are very important, in the shield elements we can have the quadrants divided up with things like , seprants, crowns, stars, flaming balls, polo player holding a ball while in the water, water or waves, or aquatic, stars and stripes, colors. There could be a trident on top or instead of a crown, the supporters could be of a water polo player ( gender neutral or one male on one side and female on the other side, or it could be of aquatic sympolism, it could be of a serpant or other type of mythical creature, we could have a water polo goal or netted cage. It could be of royal and imperical representation. But all parts of a cote of arms, shield, crest, motto, mantle, fields, supporters, banners, etc..etc..etc..

design #128332-crown looks good, I like how you created a text box background for LOS AL, but maybe not black, try another color, at the bottom of the shield try another text box, with the letters wPc, the P in the pointy part.Make sure the letters are spread out enough to read. try a few different shield types, ornate, elegant, ornamental, wings coming off the sides look ok, try makybe flaming wings i would like #127987 design with the 4 quadrants, top left quadrant try the translated latin phrase, "Loyalty leads to Victory" or "Victory through Loyalty" the supporters, lets try maybe some mythical gods of water, or neptune, or male and female creatures holding tridents, with fins/fish tales instead of legs. finally, I would like this cote of arms shield logo with all the details, incircled, on the outside a round like "patch" looking circle, with words wrapping on top, "WATER POLO CLUB" or "THE OFFICIAL WATER POLO CLUB OF" and wrapped on bottom, "LOS ALAMITOS"
