Describe your company and organization and target audience

We are a family owned business that's been operating since 1986 marketing stylish, high quality reading glasses. Our target audience is people in their 40's and older who are looking for stylish reading glasses, with our biggest customer base consisting of women. Our retail website is over 10 years old but we recently decided to redesign it and change the logo.

The design should have the following

The logo must be modern and fashionable. Since our name is LA Readers, we want the logo to play off of our name. We want our logo to invoke images of LA, e.g. sunshine, Hollywood, beaches, glamour, etc. Preferably the logo should be one to three different colors. Please feel free to submit entries with and without the slogan.
We want LA to be in large block letters similar to the Hollywood sign. We want a spotlight shining over LA. Preferably there should be a pair of reading glasses in the logo and maybe another image that reminds people of LA like a palm tree or the sun.

This logo will be used for

• Online (Website, facebook etc.)
• Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)

This design should not have this in the entries

We do not want a logo that is entirely text based.
