Describe your company and organization and target audience

We are a nonprofit group that is bringing 7 golf courses together to promote a geographical region to potential golfing tourists. The area is located in British Columbia, Canada, along the Columbia River and Kootenay Lake, surrounded by mountains. The region starts in Christina Lake and runs north up to Rossland, Trail, Castlegar, Nelson, Balfour and across the lake to Kokanee Springs Golf Course.

The design should have the following

We require a logo that conveys who we are to golfers who may or may not have golfed in the area. The river and mountains are very unique for golfing. We often refer to our area as "mountain golf". Our mountains are small mountains - not the Rockies. The current website is kootenaygolftrail.com. It is under construction and the new web site will work with the design we get for this logo.

This logo will be used for

• Online (Website, facebook etc.)
• Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
• Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)
• Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)

This design should not have this in the entries

No cliche golfer swinging a club. No golf ball or tee flat dominating the logo.
