Describe your company and organization and target audience

I run a small commercial boat targeting anyone from environmental companies to universities to government agencies for passenger transfers, gear transport, navigation aid maintenance and environmental surveys.

The design should have the following

I'd like the word Intertidal to be the stand out with Workboat (one word) and labour to be smaller and underneath. I was thinking of a stylized compass rose incorporated in the design to suggest I can go just about anywhere with the boat.

This logo will be used for

Online (Website, facebook etc.)
Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)

What style of logo would you like?

Colors to use in the design

Black, white and grey with maybe one colour like blue, red, or green.
