Just under 24 hours left and I'm not sure we have found what we're looking for yet. None of the submitted designs either has the extra professionalism we were hoping for or a clear identity. I know I haven't been clear about what we wanted - I was just hoping that letting peoples creativity run free would be better than setting up too narrow guidelines. Thank you everyone for your submitted designs - maybe next time I will be stricter about what we are looking for.

Thanks for all the submissions so far. We are several people judging this and so the feedback may not always be right to the point. One of the things we have talked about is that most of the submitted logos has been a picture or an abstract on top and text below. Even though the winner may very well be just that but we would love to see more creative incorporation of the abstract picture into the text or in an "emblem" type logo. Also, the & symbol can be replaced by an "o" (short for "och" which means "and"): Hackat & Malet Hackat o Malet I don't know if this opens up any new design possibilities by using the o instead of the & but it just might.
