Hi everyone, thanks for your entries so far ... very impressive! Having seen a few now I think we are leaning towards a logo which includes an icon, but please don't withdraw your entries they are all still in consideration, we won't rule out those with text only so if you have a great text design please submit it. Multi-colour designs are welcome. Looking forward to seeing some more great designs! Thanks Robin

Hi everyone, I thought I'd pull together some more thoughts regarding the entries so far to give some more clarity to the designers. Although for the money being offered I don't expect we will get a particularly unique design - I'm not really interested in icons which are too similar to other companies or look too much like clip art (no offence!). I'm loving the use of more colour - while not a requirement they are very attractive. If anyone has any icon ideas which incorporate what we do (see brief) that would be great to see. I'm getting pretty frustrated by the comments left here. I have had to stop work to read abuse between designers and not to try and translate a language I don't know. Are these comments for me (the contest holder)??? Are they intended to get some clarification on the project???

Ok I'd like some advice ... what should I do if I like elements in entries from different designers. For example I like one person's logo but another person's stylizing of their logo and another's fonts? What is the ethical way to approach this?

I haven't read up on the rules that you agree to when you host a contest, but I would choose the design that you like the most as the winner. Then you could ask that designer to modify their design a bit. I would not post on this public forum the two designs that you would like to combine, because it will just turn into a free for all.
