Update to all contestants! I would like to see the Letters CRM included. It should read..Fishbulb CRM Solutions. I would like the Letters CRM to be in red. The same colour red that is shown in the screenshots... (the "X" in the top left).

Hopefully these screen shots give everyone a clear idea of where the logo will sit and the colours that it has to work with. As I have previously said, I need the logo to justify to the right or left of a page. In screenshot 1 I have pasted one of the competing logos to show you where I intend for the logo to sit. However left justification would be good too. I hope this helps everyone

main point is that fish should be original work as CH said pic is for reference only. i dont think they want to waste $250 for clipart image that they can get for free. they just need similar idea. We have many people here who can draw better fish than the linked image has :)

Possibly not, maybe Afishis will see something they prefere! Although the designer should always listen to the contest holder. 'the customer is always right' !

Well, most contest holders will look for something close to what they are looking for on the internet. It's not exactly what they want but it's close to what they want. As a designer you're supposed to give them what they need and it should be original. I'm willing to bet once a few more creative designs are posted, the winning design will be nothing like the image provided as reference.

Yes it is. But as you can see i do not breach any copyright infringements as it is not exact has differences and also was made by myself therefore it is my own work and thus i can not be disqualified. As much as you for reference only, there request was 'I want it to look like something very close to this image'. Therefore i am following the brief given by the contest holder. Although i see your point of worry. Using the image to take ideas from is totally fine. Chris.
