Family and Community Intervention Lab
Describe your company and organization and target audience
I am a professor and researcher in Clinical Child Psychology - and I'm looking for a logo to represent my research lab. The lab is called the "Family and Community Intervention Lab."
I work with families of young children with disruptive behavior problems and autism spectrum disorder. My research focuses on providing caregivers with positive parenting skills to build a stronger parent-child relationship while also reducing child disruptive behaviors. Parents learn these skills by playing with their children and implementing an effective discipline strategy. I work a lot in community settings (not just a lab space) which is also representative in the title of the lab.
The design should have the following
I am not wedded to any idea. The family component is the most important part to me. And to show a strong family promotes a child's well-being. Maybe a reference to Bronfrenbrenner's ecological model (https://www.psychologynoteshq.com/bronfenbrenner-ecological-theory/) where maybe a child is in the middle of the design, then caregivers next, then larger community might be one idea. Any other symbols to represent a strong family are welcome
This logo will be used for
- Online (Website, facebook etc.)
- Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
This design should not have this in the entries
I do not think I want a puzzle piece included. This is a national symbol to represent autism, but I think it would be a copyright concern/overused.
Colors to use in the design
Something that would convey professional, but fun/light
