To clarify - I'm looking for something with a realistic representation of a faclon/bird of prey, rather than something abstract/cartoony or hard to decipher. As further inspiration, a simple interpretation of a head at the kind of angle found here http://www.redbubble.com/people/apeart/works/1036618-falcon-head. Suggestions on whether it's framed or free standing?

no, the simpler the better, the examples are just suggestions for perspective. I'm no designer but i think Ive seen this kind of thing before. Just the outline and main features of the head i think? Thanks

Thanks guys, some great ideas coming through. To clarify my thoughts again (I dont think everyone's read my comments) I'm now favouring a face at the angle shown in the 1st example at the top of the page here http://pic-of-animal.blogspot.com/2011/08/pictures-of-peregrine-falcon-free.html ?? I guess what i'm looking for is the impression it's looking directly at you. Also realism is a priority, so proportions/lines etc should be as accurate as possible. Thanks
