The current Blockbuster movie Brooklyn film which has been nominated for 3 Oscars this year was filmed in Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford. Ireland. The Enniscorthy Chamber and Tourism would like to highlight as a reason for tourists to visit the town - with Brooklyn Tours, Themed festival and tourism packages. The target audience is tourism and visitors both overseas and domestic.
The film BROOKLYN tells the profoundly moving story of Eilis Lacey (Saoirse Ronan), a young Irish immigrant navigating her way through 1950s Brooklyn. Lured by the promise of America, Eilis departs Enniscorthy, Ireland and the comfort of her mother’s home for the shores of New York City. The initial shackles of homesickness quickly diminish as a fresh romance sweeps Eilis into the intoxicating charm of love. But soon, her new vivacity is disrupted by her past, and Eilis must choose between two countries and the lives that exist within.

This logo will be used for

• Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)
• Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)
• Television/screen

This design should not have this in the entries

Colours should be in-keeping with the 1950's style of the movie and not loud or brash. However it needs to be very clear as initial logo with incorporate into signs both large & small.
