Describe your company and organization and target audience
The EdTechTeam is a network of educational technologists that provides professional development services for educators (and technical services to schools). We are launching a new program called "Future Ready Schools" that provides a road map for schools to develop: 1.) courageous leadership, 2.) empowered teachers, 3.) ready access to educational technologies, and 4.) high-speed connectivity. Our audience for this initiative is primarily leaders of educational institutions.
The design should have the following
This logo should focus on "Future Ready Schools" but should also fit visually with our existing logo, which may appear beside it or beneath it (ideally our color scheme could be used for the new logo - or could at least be compatible)... this new logo doesn't need to say EdTechTeam in it, but it could: http://www.edtechteam.com One of our partners has developed this design for their "Future Ready Schools" initiative, though our design can deviate from this: http://schoolspeedtest.org/futureready/ It is not necessary to include EdTechTeam in the "Future Ready Schools" logo, but it might work well. Here is an example of another logo (from a project in partnership with Google) that incorporates EdTechTeam into the logo: http://www.gafesummit.com/
This logo will be used for
- Online (Website, facebook etc.)
- Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
- Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)
- Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)
This design should not have this in the entries
Images of dated technology or technology that could be dated: keyboards, mice, iphones, etc... or even Google Glass. Images of education cliches: apples, chalk boards, desks, etc... Images of team cliches: figures holding hands etc...
Colors to use in the design
