Douglass Smith (yes, Douglass is really spelled with 2 “s”s) was a long-time banker and financial expert. He provides financial advice to individuals and companies. He currently owns a company called Castle Rock Capital Management, but this logo will be for his personal branding materials and site. He helps people solve financial problems.

The design should have the following

It should use a Copper/Gold color as the primary color with black accents. Any text should use Avenir Next as a font and use all capitals. It should incorporate the idea of the Castle Rock logo (but this is not a logo for Castle Rock…just Douglass Smith personally). That logo has been uploaded for your review. It does not need to copy the logo. Douglass is open to some creativity, but still wants to project a classy, professional brand.

This logo will be used for

• Online (Website, facebook etc.)
• Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
• Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)
• Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)
• Television/screen

This design should not have this in the entries

It should have similarities to, but not copy the Castle Rock logo that we have uploaded. It should not use the name “Castle Rock”, but instead use Douglass Smith. He does not want to use the Castle Rock colors, but use a copper/gold and black color scheme.

The contest is to develop a logo for the personal branding for financial expert, Douglass Smith.
