We are the largest job site for college students and recent grads in the US

The design should have the following

UPDATE (Nov 13 4p EST):

The logo design should have two components--a square graphical logo to the left of the text-based CollegeGrad.

Most of the entries to date have looked too 90s. We want something more modern. The graphic should incorporate a mortarboard (grad cap), titled, with the tassle falling correctly per gravity. It can include either "C" or both "C" and "G" (possibly "G" inside "C").

We want a more modern and current look to the logo. We like our current use of the grad cap graphic combined with the text, we just want a more modern look to it.

This logo will be used for

• Online (Website, facebook etc.)
• Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
• Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)
• Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)
• Television/screen

Colors to use in the design

UPDATE (Nov 13 4p EST):

We have decided we do NOT want to do the multi-colored Google look, instead stay with just two primary colors for the text (perhaps using one for college and one for grad). We like royal blue and gold (think graduation colors), although we are open to other colors/variants. No orange (this was used by CareerBuilder and we want to stay away from it). However, look at CareerBuilder.com's current logo and you will see an example of the use of the square graphic left and the text to the right.
