HISTORY:
Brad Gruno is the founder of Brad’s Raw Foods, which he left in early 2015. The history of Brad’s Raw Foods is an integral precursor to our story. http://www.bradsrawchips.com/meet-brad/
After Brad’s Raw Foods he began looking for the #NextKale. Brad relocated to Charleston in June, 2015. He wanted to start a company where he could share his passion for healthy food, and ultimately just have fun.

We discovered an incredibly healthy, nutrient-dense plant called Moringa, and fell in love with it as a star ingredient. [Google search Moringa - there is plenty of info out there!] Moringa was the true inspiration for the launch of this company.

Moving to Charleston he fell in love with the colors and artwork of the city as well as the strong local & collective identity. We want to interact with local artisans with our new brand - whether that’s local chefs, yoga studios, digital/marketing/graphic talent, designers, etc.

ABOUT:
We are an organic food and skincare company who uses only the highest quality, healthiest, and cleanest ingredients. 100% organic. 100% non-GMO. We design and produce beautiful, natural food and skincare products (works of art), for customers who are on a journey to living a more balanced, healthy, and joyful life.

First and foremost we make and sell products that will genuinely improve people’s lives. We will be profitable with integrity – selling products that are good for the body and mind, and being transparent through it all. Transparency with our labels (no hidden ingredients) and transparency as a company. You get to know us.

In addition to selling natural food and skincare products, we are educators. We interact with our customers so that we can support one another in our own journeys. We believe that education about nutrition and wellness will not only improve the lives of our customers but also generate more interest in our ingredients and products, expanding our market reach.

The design should have the following

ART DIRECTION:
We will be featuring local artists/artwork as part of our packaging design. As part of our “Collective Identity” we are expanding on the idea of being a creative collective working together and supporting our communities. Our package artwork will be ever-changing, rotating periodically featuring different commissioned artists and potentially using different color palettes and styles to fit flavors and product types. We need for a brand identity that can balance that dynamic changing artwork of our packaging in a cohesive way, with our brand hierarchy in mind. With the initial product launch in Charleston, we will use local Charleston artists and then expand region by region as we grow

This logo will be used for

  • Online (Website, facebook etc.)
  • Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
  • Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)
  • Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)
  • Television/screen

This design should not have this in the entries

We do not want a Moringa leaf in the logo -- this will pigeon-hole us into using that plant longterm.
