Grist Iron Brewing Company is a craft brewery in Upstate NY and we're partnering with Southern Tier Running Club (a local nonprofit club) to host our first ever Build-a-Beer Flight Challenge event. Basically we're targeting both serious athletes and not-so-serious athletes (we'll take anyone who likes craft beer) to come out in teams of 4, dress in a fun beer-themed team uniform, then complete a series of 8 stations throughout a marked area on our property (mixture of fields, trails, and woods). Participants can run, jog, walk, crawl, etc. around our property searching out the stations, four of which will feature a different beer sample that each team member will drink to "build a flight" with the remaining four stations featuring a fun take on common drinking games that the teams will need to complete (i.e. giant beer pong, quarters, etc.). Teams will receive either a mark on a scorecard or a themed coaster to show they've completed all the required tasks. Once all 8 stations are completed the teams will race back to the finish line and receive a free pint for competing. We'll also be giving out awards for fastest time, slowest time, and best team uniform.

This event will be marketed as a fun, laid back activity that even the most non-athletic person could complete. This is a brand new event for us, so we'd like to have a fun, crisp, colorful, professional-looking logo created to add some credibility to our event in its first year. We're expecting that this event will be a popular one and we'd like to continue this on into the future.

The design should have the following

Being a brewery, we do have some established branding. I'm attaching some examples of design elements that we use here; however, this event will establish its own separate, but somewhat related, brand identity, so don't feel like it has to match completely. The attached brand elements DO NOT NEED TO BE USED - THEY ARE MEANT ONLY AS A GUIDELINE. We're hoping to get a final logo that conveys the following things:

- It's a fun, beer-centric event
- That this event includes physical activity and drinking
- Uses colors that are reminiscent of beer (yellows, oranges, etc.)

This logo will be used for

• Online (Website, facebook etc.)
• Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
• Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)
• Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)

This design should not have this in the entries

We're pretty open to your creative inspirations - we just want it to look fun, but professional and polished.
