Bright Ambition is a clinical hypnotherapy organisation providing services in pain, anxiety and stress management. The service is essentially a counselling session where our therapists help client get into a relaxed state of being, and make suggestions to their sub conscious to help alleviate pain, stress or anxiety. Target audience would be consumers with an eye for natural remedies, holistic therapies, people that have tried traditional medical intervention and have failed in the past. We will be targeting both the private individual as well as the corporate sector, and there will be a number of services aimed at children, with the carers or parents choosing the service. Our branding needs to be simple, really accessible and be reflective of the natural aspect to the therapy, it shouldn't look like a doctor surgery logo or a big corporate conglomerate. it should feel local, trustworthy, earthly, calming. Hypnotherapy is all about creating a peaceful environment in order to make suggestions that could be construed in multiple ways by the client to help them heal. This should be reflective in the design, nothing should be overly literal or obvious. Artist lines and brush strokes to make a rough image rather than an clear concise image. Hypnotherapy is about reaching into someones mind, into their subconcious and helping them right the wrongs. It should be simple and elegant and trusted.

The design should have the following

Any image should be simple artistic lines and not literal pictures of items.
Ideas that could be incorperated; The Tree Of Knowledge, The brain/ mind/ sub concious, A Persons Head, the sun, sun rays. Natural elements, water, tree's mountains. Eyes that are closed, minds that are open. I have pictured an ouline of a hill that is reflective of a person head laying facing up with sun rays coming up from behind the head. Another idea is perhaps we can incorperate a simple tree of knowledge whos branches look like a persons mind opening up, again sun rising or sun rays should be incorperated here. Sleep is a big aspect of the treatment and the branding could be reflective of this.

This logo will be used for

• Online (Website, facebook etc.)
• Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
• Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)
• Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)

This design should not have this in the entries

Bright colours. Eye catching bold pictures.
Avoid the colour red or too much black.
Avoid looking like a medical company, or a big corperate entity.

Colors to use in the design

Colour pallet that is reflective of the sun rising. Hues of yellow, oranges, deep purples. Very calming colours, pastels. Earthly tones are possible, browns, ochre, darker greens.
