Bert & Cookie's takes its guests on a soulfully rhythmic ride back to the juke joints of the the Mississippi Delta and grandma's kitchen filled with the savory scents of creole cuisine and southern flare. This is a moderately-casual restaurant in a up and coming urban neighborhood. It features dishes from the African diaspora as well as live hip-hop, r&b, and jazz music for patrons.
The target audience is the current grad student, young urban professional looking to wind down from a long at work with friends and co-workers. The average patron is accustomed spending $30-$40 per meal, loves good music and cocktails, and is your typical 80s baby with an appreciation for good music.
