1. wheres the attached photos? 2. what document we must sign if we win? i hope you understand that nothing in this world is 100% original. you can find similarity everywhere. if someone designs logo you like and example designer is fom USA then one day you visit europe and see similar design idea in germany then you ask your money back? or you mean originaly made by designer not ripping the design elements from the stock sites?

I am uploading photos now. Appreciate your questions, the originality issue referse to the fact that we require the use of original artwork, not using design elements from stock assets, etc. Ethical, original design work. Thanks!

Upon looking at the initial designs utilizing the client's office/house, the logos look too much like designs for a real estate company instead of a law firm. Please be careful... the use of the house is not required.

Is the link provided working for anyone? For me, the link takes me to a sign up for yahoo page.

If you are having trouble viewing the photos, go to http://www.baileyandbenfield.com/index.html to see an image of the office space exterior. I will keep working on getting the other interior shots visible at the flicker site, however, just an awareness of how the exterior looks should help. The house is NOT the major influencer, we just don't want the logo look/feel to fight with the 1800's period setting of the structure.

Hey Designers... The logos submitted to far are falling far below our expectations for the logo of a top level law firm. We encourage everyone to think harder as you approach this contest. THANKS.

Do you NOT want a comma between Bailey and Benfield?

All logos that are sold to a client must be signed off on. Therefore, the contests I've won, I still own the rights to the logo. Until you sign a document stating you are giving the rights over to the client, you technically own the logo. Do some research in the legal aspects of logos.

it is my understanding that on this site, taking the prize money is, in effect, signing over your rights to the logo. You only retain the rights to the logos that didn't win. I do believe that's mentioned in the terms and conditions of this site.

ATTENTION DESIGNERS: Many designers have tried to develop a logomark from "BBG." Today only one desinger with submission #193403 has been successful with that approach. Please consider designs without using BBG as we haven't been successful with those letterforms. Think more abstractly and artiscally. Think big major brand.

I'm trying to get this right...It's a logo for lawyer's office...no typical "attorney" artwork wanted. Prefers not a logo with "BBG," but a logo for "LAWYERS." (What would a lawyer want for a logo if not the initials or lawyer logo artwork??) Wants contemporary logo, but possibly with 150 year old historic building possibly integrated. Wants logo to be able to be xeroxed, which means no gradations or screens. Okay.

RE: submission #193403 Because the rest of us are a bunch of incapable schmucks when it comes to designing anything with letters :D

Haha magpie, your right... also a lot of stealing concepts in this contest.

but who tells that lawyer logo must be boring and gray? why not something trendy and colorful. Sometimes if i see lawfirm logos it reminds me real estate logos they are mostly boring and starts to repeat themselves. Think out of the box
