Way to keep things professional. This Company is offering the largest prize this site has seen thus far and its even prepaid. And you pick this contest to start acting like a child (giovabao). If this was my site I'd have you banned. Reece, please excuse one feeble minded designer from souring your experience here. You may not get top notch work from all entries but with enough feedback i assure you the end design you pick will be more than what you were expecting.

that's just my opinion, don't be too aggressive. And yes, 13 cranes and sonelmahmud, because it's the largest prize and it's prepaid, I propose that everyone should work on it carefully before submitting. However, look at the logos, then tell me the quality of these works. Rate them yourself, truthfully! I dont mean to offense anyone; if i were you, i would consider it and do something instead of being mad at me. I'm working on the design myself. @sonelmahmud: I dont thing it is necessary to send me a not very nice private message while you already post what you thought on public board. Regards

Have you ever actually been a part of a professional design critique? No one would ever just openly slam other people's work without providing any constructive feedback or expanding their comment in an attempt to be genuinely helpful. I'm with 13cranes.

I am sorry again to say this, but i feel like i need to... Just to type something (with already built font) then add some gradients on is not a logo design. The client can do it himself on Microsoft WORD or PAINT without paying a penny.

Why not just text? Some of the world's most recognizable logos (Google, Microsoft, Yahoo) are just well-done, well-designed text.

Hmm... everyone who is involved with a entry can have side and opinion, but it's ugly to talk about something that you haven't proposal.. It's so easy to tell what isn't goes right when you aren't in.. microsoft, abc, geico, AIG, sony, toshiba, samsung, Playstation, xbox, marvel, walmart, Lowe's, The Home Depot, Canon, HBO, ESPN, Hershey's, Disney, oracle, mobil, Ford, Dell, Du Point, Time Magazine, Life Magazine...it goes on and on and on and on and on. All logos that use text or slightly modified text only as their logo.

I was talking to every one in a joke form :) so every one that is trying to get skills by competing in contests stop to feel bad for the bad and big comment about logo designs.... by the way this is a site for anyone even if you do not know about design at all, because no body born knowing about designing. every one here had to go to school to learn. so please all designing even if you are a beginning keep it up in designing, some day you will see improvement in your work :))) so keep it up and I'm talking for myself too. :)
