Nice Job Harbor...Just a bit more information I would like to give. I am not really sure, but I believe that APEX is written in Belwe Bold or similiar type. I would like to keep it close to this type of font. Also, Please write Dental Rental (instead of Dental Equipment leasing) in a more standard block type letters (in black) that will fit nicely underneath the word Apex. Thanks.

Harbor, the font that you used for the words "Dental Equipment Leasing" is basically what I want (just change it to Dental Rental). Maybe try it without all caps-though this is at your artist discretion.... Thanks

I am very sorry for the confusion. Yes, it is true that I ran a previous contest and that marmur did enter a the basic design which I would like, however it was not the design that I want, only a starting point to which to design something different. I do not intend to use the design which marmur entered, although I did like it. I do not feel that this is in anyway illegal as marmur has suggested, because whatever design I chose will be of a significant enough difference that it can not be considered the same logo. That being said, I am sorry if I have offended anyone...Also not all of the designs erased are based of this initial design. I also included 2 other basic designs to create a logo off of.

I have contacted administration over this contest. I did not realize that I could not put up examples of other logos in order to create a new unique logo. In my opinion, many logos are variations of existing logos. Perhaps, with administations help, a solution can be reached which will satisfy all parties.

I really do not feel as though I did anything wrong by either posting existing designs as a starting point to create a new design or by running multiple contests in order to obtain the concept that I would like. I would like at this point to invite all designers who feel as though their submitted designs are indeed unique to resubmit them into this contest.

What is unclear is why you chose another designer when you like mahmur's design? You should have paid him for that design and then you would have owned the rights and could do whatever you wanted with it. I can see why that would be very upsetting to mahmur.

I have resubmit the last entries i've made . If you want any of my earliers entries, ask me and i will upload them again. I've made some entries that was refering to the link we had and i understand why these entries have been deleted but i consider the entries i resubmited as my original design and i dont understand why they've been deleted. ***sorry for the writting, i'm french***

@di-vahyn: this link http://photobucket.com/apexdental takes us to the CH`s album on photobucket. when the first contest was started in april, this link contained an image which can be seen here: http://inlinethumb05.webshots.com/42308/2666957090101472334S500x500Q85.jpg I saved this image in my folder and I`m happy I did. that image was the starting point for the first Apex contest. for this second contest, CH removed that first image, printed on a sheet of paper my entries from the first contest and he wanted to used my designs as a starting point. without my permission, without asking me , without having any copyright rights on it since he didn`t pay for them. So, I see that some designer here continue to use my designs. People, please remove them as you have no rights to use them.

I still don't get it. If the CH liked mahmur's design but still wanted some modifications, mahmur was the one to make the necessary modifications. That's why we can communicate here. After all it was mahmur's idea and someone's idea should be respected, not turned into a starting point.

Apparently dorapol does not understand the situation as they have posted another knockoff of mahmur's design. You were all asked to remove your designs. Everyone, please respect the designer's request to remove your entries as it clearly states in the rules of the contest that you cannot copy another designer's entry and since this CH does not own the rights to the design that is exactly what you are doing.
