Describe your company and organization and target audience

Aegis is an local insurance agency that is providing all the ease of online insurance carriers with the availability and knowledge of a brick and mortar insurance agent.

The brand is concentrating on health insurance for people over 65 at the moment. The logo should reflect a broad array of insurance products as that is where the agency is heading. In other words, I wouldn’t want something centered on just health, auto or home insurance.

The design should have the following

I don’t have specific ideas on the logo should look. Any ideas are welcome.
I would like for it to include a shield.

This logo will be used for

• Online (Website, facebook etc.)
• Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
• Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)
• Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)

This design should not have this in the entries

I prefer letters in the logo not to be in cursive.

Colors to use in the design

The color scheme can include red, blue and/or black.
Blue is really the only color I am set on. The others can be something else.
