For those who are paying attention to these comments down here, we have made a change to our tagline. It's no longer going to be "Real Savings. Shipped Fast!". Our tagline is NOW going to be "Low cost ink & toner... Shipped Fast!". If you submit a design using the old tagline, it's not going to harm your chances of winning the contest -- but if yours is chosen as the winner, we'll need to have that change in the final version. If you want to

I've also uploaded a few printer image files just now to the top portion of this project.

Just an update to help guide everybody down the right path. 1. We have a lot of history invested in our current logo, so approaching this contest as a "logo update" might be a better approach than just a "new" logo. Maybe take some cues from our existing logo. Something that's updated, and fresh is part of what we're after. But again, we do have about 10 years invested in promoting our current logo, so ideally we would like current customers to still be able to recognize our company. --see current logo here: http://www.asapinkjets.com/ 2. We prefer a horizontal logo rather than a square logo. A logo with the icon to the left will work better on our website. 3. We are heavily leaning toward a printer as the icon. (That will help keep some brand recognition from our current customers.) 4. The font we have for "ASAP" in our current website logo is dated, and not as clear as we'd like. We'd prefer a more readable font, that still has some character.
