After the massive success of last year’s first ever Hatchie Awards we’ve decided to do it again!
Now is the time for you to nominate your FAVORITE design that you created and entered into a Hatchwise contest last year. Voting is open to the public and the winner gets $500!
This contest is open to all creatives who have submitted an original custom design entry to Hatchwise between 1/01/2020 and 4/14/2021.
If you qualify for the contest simply submit the entry you are most proud of in the form below to be entered into the contest.
- Only designs submitted to creative contests on Hatchwise can be entered
- Only entries from public Hatchwise contests can be nominated (no private contest entries).
- Award payment will be made via Paypal to the payment account on record in the Hatchwise account of the designer who created the original entry.
- Voting will take place on social media and on Hatchwise.com.
- Winner gets the title and $500 cash via Paypal.
- One entry per designer.
- Entry subject to final approval of Hatchwise staff.

In their words:
"The contest holder is looking for a mascot or an avatar that represents their business. They are looking for a woman mascot that represents a healthy living. The design brief listed that it must be a woman, half plant and half-human. The mascot should also illustrate healthy living, fun, kind and happy. So this becomes even more challenging since the reference image is too complex to illustrate. I had come up with a simple avatar that illustrates a yoga position that portrays balance and healthy living. I drew a friendly and cheeky face keeping in mind that it is going to be the face that represents their company. The simple \"Vegga\" text under is designed to have contrast to the illustration. Some leaf accent on the text is added so when in use without the illustration, it still conveys the same message. Some fruits and vegetables were added in request of the contest holder. I also provided a simplified version of this in one color to be used as a small scale print version of the mascot. ( Entry #1639306 - withdrawn entry) I learned that it is important to have constant communication with the contest holder and respond to it accordingly to have their vision illustrated in its best form."
