Like the concept of the bean with the K in it - could the bean possibly be the first letter of the name without being too hard to recognize - also like the size of logos where the image is next to the text (able to make logo larger on labels, stationary, etc.)

Concept is simple: I've merged a coffee bean with the 'k' letter, the initial of your brand's name. The essence of this method is that the logo itself will not only be connected to the idea of coffee, it will be instantly linked with the brand name (Kempher's). This way you have the possibility to use the logo image by its own(without the text lines) for some of your smaller products and still preserve the strength of your brand.
