Robin, if you had read the design brief you would know the contest is for the design of the tagline, not the logo. The Contest Holder already has a logo she is happy with. A few contestants have included the existing logo in their presentation, to show the tagline in context.

Thank you so much for all these new designs. I was beginning to wonder if we were going to get in the direction I was looking for! Keep them coming. I am excited because this is exactly the kind of concepts I was seeing for myself. If I am not commenting or rating on every one of them,please excuse me. There are a lot and some are very close and hopefully you can glean from the comments I do make what I am looking for. I am trying to give you feedback that is useful and not comment on each one simply to comment!

I like all the ideas of the different fonts with the logo. It gave me a perspective. Now give me ideas without the logo. Without the logo completely. The tagline all by itself. I am not always going to use this tagline with the logo. It will be placed in different spots in ads etc. I never went into this with the thought of the tagline as part of the logo. I want the tagline designed to stand alone. Do something with the lettering...make the S's on Style and Service stand out, one line, two lines, offset lines.... give me something that I can't do myself. I can look through fonts and pick a nice font out.
