We're a new designer-driven retail concept featuring an elite group of up and coming designers in a premier boutique setting. Our first store will feature innovative, modular design and reclaimed materials with a fresh spin (think texture).

What do you need written

We are looking for fresh naming ideas - something that is sophisticated yet cool with a hip, modern edge. The boutiques will have a collective identity yet showcase the individual brands of each designer. Think energy, optimism, creativity, and originality as adjectives describing the vibe of the store and its featured designers. These designers are NOT startups or wannabes. They are accomplished in their own right with an admirable measure of success already. They represent the best design talent in the community and beyond. Their stuff is swank. Categories include apparel, jewelry, artisan chocolates, accessories, shoes, gifts and possibly more. The defining factor is their talent and point of view as a designer. The stores will focus on local designers in their respective markets. They will be the 'new guard' of retail opposite the big mass market retailers. This capitalizes on a new trend of consumers wanting to shop local and having a more personal experience with the local designer-driven products they are buying. Straightforward ideas are ok but we want the name to be intriquing and make people curious to want to know more by checking out the store. They will be 'in the know' if they do because it's the cool new thing. People will be want to follow and support these designers on their path of success because they are local and 'making it happen' in this world of chaos and uncertainty. We also need the name to work as a domain (www...) if possible or some derivative of it. Taglines may be especially helpful if the name is not 'obvious' as a way to crystallize the concept for consumers.
