Brewing company needs name
Describe your company and organization and target audience
A new craft brewery with hopes of opening in downtown danville California at the end of this year. Will be a brewery/restaurant with hopes of expanding production to cans/bottles/keg as we grow. I am a former beer distributor in bay area.
What do you need written
Looking for a timeless, yet original and easy to remember name. I like 1 word names, yet totally open to 2. Other breweries whose names I love are Stone, Sierra Nevada, Green Flash, Anchor, Golden Road, Ninkasi, 21st Amendment and Bear Republic. Favorite other company names are Nike and especially Starbucks who was a coffee loving character in Moby Dick. Many of these names have meanings or stories behind them, and great logos or themes. I think it would be amazing to do something similar. There are so many directions we could go which has made this process extremely hard. A beer loving character in a book like Starbuck would be incredible, or a goddess like Nike or Ninkasi is great too. A natural event of the sun setting like a "green flash" is clever, and something celebrating California's independence like the Bear Republic is really cool. 21st amendment was the repeal of prohibition. Etc, Etc. So many options my mind has literally crashed. Some names I've liked aren't available. I liked Prospect because it's the cross st. of our brewery, but someone has "Prospector". The actual street our brewery is on is Railroad and there's an old train station museum across the street, however this doesn't mean we need a train or railroad theme. Basically we're open to all kinds of creative and different clever ideas.
