A logo is a crucial aspect of a company’s identity and serves as the face of the business on all marketing material. Therefore, it’s essential for companies to choose a logo that meets all their requirements and accurately represents their brand. Recently, we had the honor of designing a new logo for a client who knew they could rely on us. In this blog post, we’ll showcase some of our favorite entries from the contest, discuss the client’s requirements, and reveal the winning design.
The client initiated their contest by submitting a contest brief for Hatchwise creatives to review. The brief contained detailed information about their company, Clinique Dentaire Dr Pierre-Paul Bouchard, a general dentistry practice with a French name. The client specified their requirement for a graphical logo that could be used on business cards, letterheads, signs, etc.
They said the design should be simple, elegant, and professional, either text-based or incorporating basic dentistry-themed imagery such as a tooth or smile. The client specifically requested to avoid anything cartoonish, like a winking tooth character/mascot. Hatchwise creatives thoroughly read the brief before starting on the contest entries.

The first logo features a tooth at the center, circularly surrounded by the company name. The design is set against a white background, with a half circle drawn around the tooth.

The latest design is more minimalistic, utilizing dark blue and grey tones instead of brighter hues. The client has selected the winning entry from a pool of 468 submissions for their new logo. The chosen design, displayed above, features a circle with a tooth inside and is presented in a grey and blue color scheme. The design is sleek, stylish, and classy while effectively conveying the company’s purpose and prominently featuring the company name.
The design is showcased on a mock-up of a business wall, with the company name displayed prominently above the design. The client is thrilled with the contest’s outcome and is excited to move forward with the new logo.
