Featured Design Contest: Buhl Middle School Track And Field – T-Shirt Design Contest

T-shirts are a cost-effective form of advertising as they can be worn and serve as free promotions for a company. When it comes to promoting an athletic team, marketing is crucial to gain support and attract fans. It also helps to create team unity by having members wear the same uniform.

At Hatchwise, we understand the importance of t-shirt designs in promoting athletic teams and showcasing a company’s brand. We recently came across a middle school track and field team t-shirt design contest and were excited to see some of the designs submitted.

In this blog post, we have compiled a few of our favorite designs, details about the client’s request, and the final result they received.

What Was Requested

The client initiated the logo creation process by submitting a contest brief to Hatchwise. The brief contained detailed information about the company, including its branding and what they were looking for in the logo design.

The client specified that they were a middle school track and field team, and they wanted a logo that would be printed on t-shirts and sweatshirts for middle-aged track athletes. The school’s colors were black, orange, and white; their mascot was the Indians. The client requested that the logo include the school name (Buhl Middle School or BMS), Indians, and track and field.

They also provided two examples of logos they liked. Hatchwise creatives thoroughly reviewed the brief before starting on their designs for the contest.
