More info: |
|
1. Business Card:
Should have the Gold Coast Boat Hire logo (Entry 442709 Submitted by TRC - I will upload the logo as soon as I receive the file)
It should have my name "Nic Welch", my email "nic@gcboathire.com.au", my web address "www.gcboathire.com.au", my telephone "0432 710 892", my address "20 Georgia St, Coombabah QLD 4216"
2. Stationary header and footer:
Should have the Gold Coast Boat Hire Logo and "Document Title" in the header, and the footer should contain "GCBH0000", "Commercial in Confidence", and "Page 1 of 2" in the footer. If you are feeling adventurous, perhaps a rope along the lower edge of the header.
3. Document Front Page:
This should contain the Gold Coast Boat Hire logo, the words "Gold Coast Boat Hire PTY LTD", "ACN 152 522 551", "Document Title", "GCBH0000", "Draft 0.1", and "01/01/2011". It should have a marine based theme, such as a photo of the ocean or such.
4. Envelope - not sure what size envelopes come in - but for the normal A4 folded into 3 size :) with the opening along the longer top edge. The front of the envelope (no window) should contain the Gold Coast Boat Hire logo, and the recipient name and address (eg "Fred Flintstone, 12 Bedrock Lane, Somewhere QLD 9999"). The back of the envelope should say "Gold Coast Boat Hire Pty Ltd, 20 Georgia St, Coombabah QLD 4216" along the top edge.
Good luck!

I've got Microsoft Word 2007, so if your designs could be read by that program it would be super - I intend to print my own documents and envelopes whilst I'm starting up my business, but I'll get the business cards printed professionally - so whatever format you reckon the business card should be in is fine with me. Feel free to ask any questions you like, I'll try to give as helpful advice as I can think. -

I'm not too fussed about the stationary header and footer, and envelope design - I know $75 really is not much of a prize (I've seen lots of hard work involved with my logo design at Hatchwise) - if you want to focus your efforts on the business card (mostly), followed by the Document front page, that's my preference. -

I've uploaded two (copyrighted) document front page examples which I feel are the type of font page I am looking for (document front page example 1 & 2.png) -

The envelope doesn't need to be fancy, perhaps a watermark of the anchor in my logo on it somewhere might be groovy. -

Many thanks Kalel and Skyford412. I am truly impressed with both your designs - I reckon I'll need to flip a coin to decide. I am happy to go with either of your designs. I'll be away from my PC in a couple of hours, until Sunday night (AEST), so I'll decide then unless your designs come in sooner - I'll wait until both your changes come in to be fair to each other. Well done, and congratulations! -
