Company or website name
Do you want any slogans or taglines on your logo?
Yes. www.inpsychlopedia.com. I want the logo to be in keeping with this overall design and hope we can make it work with the eye image that is already part of the logo.
Service or product provided:
inpsychlopedia is intended to be an online encyclopedia of psychological information (disorders, topics, people, places/events, dictionary, services, etc.). See www.inpsychlopedia.com
Adolescents and adults. Primary users will probably be females ages 16 - 45, but like webMD, I would assume users of both sexes and all ages. Service is free for users. Money will be made on contributer's advertising on the site.
What should come to a customers mind when they see the logo:
Insight - this is what the "eye" is for. Insight and the human mind or psyche. I am looking for middle ground between professional and friendly. Not too casual, but not stuffy. Want logo to inspire trust.
What should not be in the design:
What I have been playing with is:
inPsychlopedia - with the "in" italicized and the "P" capitalized. I've played with the "Psych" being a different color, but did not like any of the results. The lowercase "in" emphasizes the Psych part-which I like
How will the logo be the used:
On my website, on business cards, letterhead, envelopes, etc. Will trademark, so please include TM symbol.
The design should have the following:
Please view my web design at www.inpsychlopedia.com. I want to keep the coloring & layout, "repurpose" the eye logo, & keep the same tag line. I have just changed the name and need it to be worked into the overall logo. This is icon next to name.
