@contest holder - please do not advise designers to emulate or "do something like" another designer. On this site that is a violation of the rules. Each designer needs to come up with work that is entirely original, not borrow from others. Designers who copy or borrow from other designers or from clip art or existing copyrighted work anywhere else can be banned from the site. If they got encouragement from the contest holder they sometimes try to use that as an excuse for their plagiarism. Thank you in advance for your understanding.

Dear contest holder: the "do not" sign or as I put it the "no access" sign altered(with some elements added) to form the letter Z is my concept. The site policies claim that once a concept is taken, other designers are not allowed to use it for the same contest. You shouldn't have addressed a specific request to all designers looking at this contest to use the "do not" sign, you should have developed this concept with the designer who initiated it: with me. To all the designers who submitted entries based on this concept: please withdraw them or I will report them to the design court!

Entry #852637 by ChampenG is exactly the same as my design, only he replaced the Z from zulu with my icon...

ChampenG, don't you get it dude!? It is a violation of the rules to copy someone else's original concept that was entered before in the contest no matter who tells you to do it. Every designer develops a unique idea and if the contest holder likes, in this case, hma.purple's idea with the road sign then he should work with hma.purple to develop the concept or to make revisions, not advise others to copy that idea. Ideas matter, all of us here are designers and most of us have the skill to reproduce other people's work but the merit is in developing an original concept, not copying.

I will withdraw my entries from this contest because I refuse to participate in a contest in which originality and quality is not appreciated. I'm sorry I wasted my time.
