We build custom homes, remodel existing homes, and do light commercial work (ex:remodeling or building a small office buidling). We strive to provide very personalized service so the client gets the best product and service at the best price. |

What is your target audience? |

Our primary target audience is 40+ and wants to move a little out from the city to a more rural area. Our secondary audience is 30+ and loves where they live and wants to have their home remodeled and updated with the newest styles. |

What style would you like your logo to be? Would you like unique text, an icon with the name included in it, an icon with the name next to it, an illustration, or a different style? |

We would like an icon on the left with "Shelton Construction" to the right with a line underneath and then the tagline of "Custom Homes - Remodeling -Commercial" in smaller letters underneath. I appreciate creativity so it can be different. |

Do you want any specific ideas implemented into your logos? |

Use of the letters "S" and "C". But would like to see other ideas as well. Clean,really "pops". Needs to fit nicely on side and back of pickup truck. Colors- ? needs to look good on earthtone website but does not have to be earthtones. |

What should come to a customers mind when they see your logo? |

Should inspire trust and that we truly care about the quality of the work that we do. Friendliness, accessability, awareness of current trends, versatile, and awareness of the client's desire to save money. |

Is there anything you would not like to see in your logo? |
|

Please no hard hats, hammers, nails, ladders, ect. Would not be opposed to a house as long as it is "fresh" and does not make me think of HUD or a realtor. :) |

How will the logo be used? |

Will have a "wrap" done for pickup truck. Also on website, embroidered on shirts, billboard, and various other ways a logo is generally used. |

Do you have any files or images pertaining to your contest that you want the designers to view? |

We have a website but as soon as we get a new logo we will be totally redoing it.

What format do you want your logo to be designed in (ai, psd, corel etc..) |

Since we are using it on a vehicle I guess we need Vector format but would also like the Bitmap to have the 3d effect for the website. I know we will have to pay extra for that so please inform what you will charge to provide that, and also in b&w. |
