Company or website name

Do you want any slogans or taglines on your logo?

Design an exciting logo for our pilot training company.

Who we are:

What's In Your Stack?

Describe your company and organization and target audience.

PilotStack trains pilots to fly airplanes. We produce training products for pilots, each of which teaches a particular flying skill or technique that pilots can utilize to become better aviators.

Airplane pilots are our target audience: Student pilots, professional pilots, military pilots, recreational pilots. Any pilot can use the skills and techniques we present in our videos to become a safer, more proficient aviator.

The design should have the following:

The design needs to include the brand name and the tagline. It should have a central design element that relates to flying. This element does not need to be literal; it can be stylized to represent the idea of flying.

We are including a picture of an "Attitude Indicator". This is the primary instrument that a pilot uses to control the airplane. A stylized version of this instrument could be used as the central design element in the logo. We do not require that you use the Attitude Indicator in your design. It is only an idea to provide inspiration.

We are open to other design elements in the logo that convey the idea of aviation: You may want to consider stylized components like wings, propellers, outline of an airplane, designs that suggest an airplane in flight, etc. Use your imagination!

The graphic element does not need to be the center of attention for the logo. It can be a small accent that complements the brand name and tagline.

Pilots use our training products to create their own "stack" or collection of individual airplane flying skills. Thus, the name of our company is "PilotStack". As you think about designing your logo, you may want to think about how you can communicate the idea of a "stack".

This logo will be used for:

Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
Online (website, online advertising, banner ads etc.)
Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)
Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)

We do not want this in the entries:

We do not want a design that includes anything that looks like a cartoon character. We do not want to use neon colors and we would like to avoid the use of highly stylized text.
