With the launching of a Tesla car to orbit the Earth with future plans to orbit Mars, we have decided to launch the Mars Ecological Society to watchdog and lobby against potential ecological damage to the ecology of the planet Mars.

The objectives of the Mars Ecological Society

To study and educate the general public on Earth and future members of the public on Mars about the ecology of the Red Planet.
To investigate and monitor the possible exchange of microbes between the planets Mars and Earth.
To monitor terra-forming operations on Mars and the impact of terra-forming technologies on the ecology of the planet Mars.
To educate the general public on the importance of the three basic laws of ecology that apply to both Terran and Martian eco-systems. (1) The Law of Diversity. (2) The Law of interdependence. (3) The law of finite resources.
To work with all interested parties to draft and maintain ecological protocols and treaties for the protection of Martian eco-systems.
To work towards the restriction of single use plastics on Mars.
To work to establish Ecological protection regulations for the planet Mars.
To work to establish regulations to prevent the dumping of space tech garbage i.e. rocket parts, landers, electronics etc.
To test and monitor water quality on water resources on Mars.
To prohibit the transportation of terrestrial species that may pose a threat to Martian ecology.
To give priority to the protection and rights of any living organisms found on or below the surface of Mars.
To promote education on ecology and Mars to the General Public.
To work in cooperation and to consult with NASA, Elon Musk, the European, Indian, Chinese, Russian and other national and private space agencies
To recruit and to issue memberships in the Martian Conservation Society.


The Martian Ecological Society will issue Conservation Passports for Mars in addition to issuing land conservation certificates where supports can sponsor the protection of a square kilometer of Martian territory.
