So you need just a logo? text + icon?

I'm imagining "Legacy Beyond Borders" being the design piece itself -- for treatment of the text to be stylized such that it captures the message of the organization -- going beyond the ordinary, lighting up your life by living your conscious legacy, making a difference in the world. If the designer visualizes a logo separate from the text, I'm open to that, but really want text itself to be communicative. The primary application will be for banner on web site/blog home page. Thank you.

Another thought: Text could emerge from another graphic plane. Think of brightly-colored, embroidered text on a cloth background for example. The embroidered text almost has a 3-D feel to it. It feels tactile, warm, personal. (That's what somebody's conscious legacy feels like.) I included this link earlier on the project description: http://www.meg-andrews.com to offer a feel for this. Maybe the background cloth has the imprint of a geographic world map and the letters emerge from that?Love, global awareness & going past internal/external borders goes to heart of message :) Thank you.
