This logo is for an event, not an organization. We're planning a festival for Earth Day weekend, 2018. Please take a look at www.transitionfidalgo.org to get a sense of who we are visually. We're a homespun local organization building community resilience in the face of climate change. We approach it as positively as possible. We want the logo to convey the excitement of this two-day conference, which will bring together lots of local organizations and present live music and theater, an art show, a songwriting contest, national-level keynote speakers, workshops... all targeted to empower people to take action locally, to become involved in building the world they want to live in. Target audience = community members of a small town in the Pacific Northwest U.S.

The logo will be used mostly as a horizontal header, it needn't be small. High-res, transparent jpg required; .psd or .pdd, so we can open it in Photoshop Express, if possible but not required.

The design should have the following

Look very professional, positive, empowering, welcoming, fun, inviting

This logo will be used for

• Online (Website, facebook etc.)
• Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
• Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)

This design should not have this in the entries

No comic sans or times new roman fonts :-)

We don't want a futuristic look; the goal is to be of interest to as many of the general public as possible. We don't want them to think, 'oh, sci-fi, not for me.'
