Describe your company and organization and target audience
We're a non-profit (NGO) run by volunteers with the goal to enable safe and affordable clean water for remote communities that need it most, using only sustainable resources of the sea and sun. We provide drinking water projects that turn seawater into freshwater using only solar energy for underdeveloped communities in dry regions in Madagascar. With the help of a strong local NGO, we find a community that can benefit access to safe and affordable water to help break the cycle of poverty. As a result, the women and children who are often involved in collecting dirty water from unsafe sources, gain time for education and development. The community benefits from improved health and living standards and the opportunities that this brings.
The Foundation is a non-profit, we source all of our funding from donations from individuals on our website and from company partnerships. We are also planning to offer people to organise fundraisers and collect donations by for e.g. running marathons or doing any other type of challenge. Therefore, our target audience is anybody (individuals, organisations, etc.)) who is interested in our mission and either and willing to make a donation, or willing to spread our name and/or willing to create a fundraiser for us.
At the end of the day, we want to become a global movement that people want to be part of and support to overcome water scarcity in a sustainable way using unlimited resources only.
